Mgr. Diana Majdáková
Diana Majdakova (1983) is a curator of contemporary art and cultural management
She studied the science of visual art at the FiFUK, Bratislava, completed her studies with the thesis Digital image in Slovakian visual art.
In the years 2006 to 2012 she was involved with the gallery SPACE as a project manager. She curated the exhibitions Find 10 differences (2007), East of Eden (2008), Dig it all (2008), All light are fire (2012) and other contemporary art shows. She was involved both as a curator and in the organization of Crazycrurators Biennale and other international projects. She is the author of scholarly texts, blogs and articles concerning art. She regularly publishes in Flash Art magazine, (Czech and Slovakian edition), occasionally other periodicals and online media (SME, Artalk.cz and others)
Currently she is involved in the organization of events in the field of art in the public space (Neviditeľná Štiavnica), educational events for children and young people, curatorial events with the community organization ARTAKTIV. She is a lecturer a PR manager of the educational program Art Academy – art of recognizing art.
